Oh, Tracey. I am so sorry. I’m not sure if you’ve read my story “After All This Time” but I feel you so hard. You loved that little doggie. He loved her, too. Your mom shouldn’t have done what she did but you’d be shocked to know how many people don’t see kill shelters as an issue. They just don’t know. Or, maybe, she was a cruel woman.
