No that’s an excellent example actually. I’m sure they didn’t mean anything by it but by generalizing autistic kids it definitely had an air of « see? You’re not an outcast! » I totally get it. Im sorry you had that experience. My mom’s a doc and you have to be so careful how you word things. This kid just made me LOL I felt bad for a second haha
