The day we separated, I dusted off a very old story of mine and sent it out for publication. It got accepted into an upcoming anthology. Have I improved in the past three months?

Sure, but I wouldn’t have known how far I could go and the potential I have yet to meet until I did it. Go for it. I hope it’s not luck for me, too, but I know I’m a strong writer and I’ll continue to grow, so I think I have a future. You have a chance, I swear! You don’t have to write about sex, either.
